Bismarck Tobacco-Free Coalition
The Bismarck Tobacco-Free Coalition is a pro-active organization dedicated to promoting a healthy, tobacco free environment.

Tobacco is the leading cause of preventable death and disease in North Dakota and each year 1,000 North Dakotans die prematurely due to smoking related diseases. Tobacco use comes with a hefty price tag that costs North Dakota families over $326 million each year in healthcare and imposes a tax burden of $746 for each household. Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health is committed to working towards state objectives - Saving Lives, Saving Money, to reduce tobacco use and its health and economic consequences.
