CDC Best Practices

The Center for Tobacco Prevention and Control Policy is required by law to established a comprehensive tobacco use prevention and control program using CDC Best Practices.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Best Practices Part 1 and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Best Practices Part 2 are training modules designed to eduate partners, policymakers and program coordinators on best practice methods.

CDC methods are based upon best practices determined by evidence-based analysis of scientific literature and outcomes of comprehensive state tobacco control programs and interventions.
